Triennale di Milano

XIX Esposizione Internazionale - an international exhibition of architectural thinking - The South African exhibit for "Identity and Difference" held in Milan, Italy, in 1996 was curated by Architecture Co-op. This narrative installation delved into finding identity in the new changing South Africa. A collaboration between architectural students, architects and photographers took the form of a sequence of images overlayed with historical threads and significant experiences of Cape Town. The exhibit was hung in the Del'Arte among many other international exhibits. This was funded by the South African department of foreign affairs at the time.
